About ITM
ITM is a privately owned biotechnology and radiopharmaceutical group of companies dedicated to the development, production and global supply of targeted diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and radioisotopes for use in cancer treatment. We are developing a proprietary portfolio and growing pipeline of targeted treatments in various stages of clinical development addressing cancers such as neuroendocrine cancers or bone metastases. Our main objectives are to significantly improve treatment outcomes and quality of life for cancer patients through a new generation of Targeted Radionuclide Therapies in Precision Oncology. The headquarters are located in the heart of the research center of the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
We would like to fill the following permanent vacancy in a hybrid working model in Garching as soon as possible
Legal Counsel Life Sciences (f/m/d)
Your role
- Serve as the primary legal advisor on all pharmaceutical and life sciences matters, including R&D, clinical development, and regulatory-related agreements, licensing, and strategic partnership agreements
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including vendor agreements, clinical trial agreements, market access licensing arrangements, NDAs, and service contracts
- Provide legal oversight and guidance on the review of promotional and medical materials, including advertising and promotional compliance
- Assess and address regulatory-driven legal issues relating to clinical trials, drug development, market access, manufacturing, and commercialization from a legal risk perspective
- Enable and guide commercial and pre-commercial activities by delivering pragmatic, risk-based, and business-oriented legal guidance in compliance with applicable healthcare laws, codes, and internal compliance standards
- Coordinate and manage external counsel in the EU and the US
- Actively contribute to cross-functional and international projects, working closely with internal teams and external advisors
- Support the continuous development of internal legal processes, templates, and standards
Your profile
- Fully qualified lawyer (Germany)
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience, gained in an international life sciences law firm or in-house in the pharma or biotech industry
- Expertise in healthcare and pharmaceutical laws, promotional regulations, and compliance frameworks including hands-on experience in regulated environments
- Track record in negotiating complex commercial agreements and managing legal aspects of cross-functional projects
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical business models, value chains, and key risk drivers
- Confident communicator, able to interact with senior internal stakeholders
- Fluent in English and German, written and spoken
