About ITM

ITM is a privately owned biotechnology and radiopharmaceutical group of companies dedicated to the development, production and global supply of targeted diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and radioisotopes for use in cancer treatment. We are developing a proprietary portfolio and growing pipeline of targeted treatments in various stages of clinical development addressing cancers such as neuroendocrine cancers or bone metastases. Our main objectives are to significantly improve treatment outcomes and quality of life for cancer patients through a new generation of Targeted Radionuclide Therapies in Precision Oncology. The headquarters are located in the heart of the research center of the Technical University of Munich (TUM).

We would like to fill the following permanent vacancy in a onsite working model in Garching as soon as possible

(Junior) Chemical Field Engineer (f/m/d)

Your role

  • Worldwide service assignments (both on-site and remote)
    • Installation of equipment and conduct technical/chemical trainings
    • Maintenance and performing qualifications
    • Troubleshooting and repair of equipment
    • Support with synthesis and quality control of radiopharmaceutical products
  • Cooperation with internal interfaces
    • Creation of documents (e.g. operating instructions, SOP)
    • Expansion and linking of structure-leading systems (e.g. SAP, CRM, Webshop, Customer Portal)
    • Design and continuous improvement of training courses
    • Technical evaluation of quality related issues
  • Contact person concerning chemical and technical questions
  • Active cooperation in product developments

Your profile

  • Successfully completed degree in the field of chemistry, engineering or comparable training (e.g. Bachelor or Master)
  • Alternatively, CTA / PTA with laboratory experience in HPLC or experienced sales representative from the pharmaceutical sector or with comparable qualification
  • Alternatively, Field Engineer or Service Technician with experience in handling complex equipment and willingness to acquire chemical knowledge and procedures
  • Practical chromatography or electrical engineering knowledge is an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team
  • Sound understanding of service with a customer-oriented mindset combined with a confident attitude
  • Excellent technical understanding and hands-on mentality
  • Ability to work under pressure and readiness to take on responsibility
  • Independent and structured workstyle
  • Prepared to travel - regular national and international business trips (up to 30% travel)
  • Good evaluation of the limits of your own competence/skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English, German and other language skills are an advantage
